This guy had a cup. I walked up with a fistfull of change as I was feeling generous at that particular moment. I held out my fistfull of change but he didn't raise his cup. Was he not homeless? I will never know. Maybe he had just finished his coffee. I never actually opened my hand so maybe he had no idea I had money for him. Maybe he didn't need it. However, as I stood there wondering what to do with the moment, he exclaimed "Take my picture man!" in a comedic Martin Lawrence style. Without hesitation, I took his picture and he thanked me. I never did give him any money. I can't help but think I may have been really close to insulting a non-homeless person.
